Miami scored 86 opening half scores against the Memphis Grizzlies

Miami Heat earned a crushing 146-114 victory against the Memphis Grizzlies in their first NBA match after player Rozier was detained over suspected illegal gambling.

Trail Blazers coach Billups was also detained in connection with a sweeping federal probe into sports betting. The two individuals contest the claims.

But, the Miami team were focused as they put up 86 first-half scores to be ahead of the Grizzlies by 39 after two quarters, the biggest half-time advantage in the team's 37 year history.

League Commissioner Adam Silver 'Upset' by Recent Events

"So, we've been working with them from that point. And, of course, what they announced recently was an charge.

"Moreover two and a half years after, he has not been found guilty of any offense, in fairness to Rozier.

"Obviously, it doesn't look good, but he's been suspended, and so it is a compromise in this case between protecting people's rights and conducting an inquiry."
