Close to 90 Air Travels Linked to Epstein Allegedly Arrived at or Departed from British Airports

Analysis has uncovered that nearly 90 aircraft journeys associated to Jeffrey Epstein reportedly landed at and took off from UK airports, with some allegedly carrying British women who allege they were abused by the convicted sex offender.

Aviation Records Show Pattern of Travel

The travel manifests were among thousands of legal papers and files made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been released over the last year. The investigation found 87 aircraft movements linked to Epstein – encompassing many that were hitherto undisclosed – arriving or departing from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel

Unidentified “females” were documented among the passengers entering and exiting the UK. Crucially, 15 of these flights involving the UK occurred following Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a child.

“This is ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his operations in the country,” said US lawyers acting for numerous Epstein victims.

UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings

Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. But, that individual has not been approached by police in the UK, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.

In a response, the London's Metropolitan Police said they had “not received any new information that would support reopening the probe.” They added, “If fresh and pertinent information be brought to our attention, encompassing any resulting from the disclosure of documents in the US, we will assess it.”

Continuing Disclosure and Legal Rulings

Proposed legislation to make public all files held by the American government in concerning Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to follow through. Hundreds of thousands of documents are expected to be made public.

Separately, a US judge ruled last week that the department could publicly release case files from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s long-term associate, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
